Yamkela Khoza Tywakadi is a celebrated South African entrepreneur, author, publisher, and communications specialist with over 15 published books, some of which are set works in South African schools. Named one of Mail & Guardian's 200 Young South African Leaders in 2019, she represented the country at the Iowa University Writing Program. She holds two Honours degrees in Publishing Studies and African Languages and a Bachelor's degree in Media Studies from the University of the Witwatersrand. She is the founder of Blank Page Books and, as a multiple award-winning writer, uses storytelling to promote African identity, children's literacy, and cultural preservation.
